Steve Fannin’s Student
Projects
Throughout the 2001-02 school year, Steve Fannin’s Gifted Chemistry classes collected and analyzed data from Piney Z Lake. Twice a week, groups of students, along with Mr. Fannin, collected data on location, temperature, pH, weather, and dissolved oxygen, and took photographs. They analyzed their data collected at the lake using ArcView and created layouts with maps, descriptions, and their photographs. As part of their school projects, the students also wrote narratives to accompany the layouts from ArcView. |
