Project Goals:

By working with various agencies involved in the restoration of the lake and using their own work, students will understand the role of science and technology in public planning.

Use the Internet, GPS and GIS to analyze data spatially for the Lake Lafayette area and identify sample sites.

Perform chemical analysis of water quality (temp, DO, pH, phosphate, nitrate, turbidity, total dissolved solids, etc…) at selected sites on the lake.
