runs .5 miles. It has 20 markers and a pamphlet to help visitors
through the trail
The Native Plant and Butterfly garden was established in 1994.
Cultivated native plants favored by butterflies attract an abundance
of resident and migratory species for visitors to observe.
In the auditorium are some exhibits about the Station and its
history, and an 18-minute video on biodiversity and conservation
of the Lake Wales Ridge.
Group tours are available by appointment
There is a scientific library emphasizing ecology, evolutionary
biology, and Florida natural history. It is available, on appointment,
to researchers and serious students.
